Vaccines are a vital part of your dog's preventative health care plan. We can protect your pet against many fatal diseases with vaccines! Also, remember that an up to date rabies vaccine is required by law in Tennessee for all pets. We offer 1 year and 3 year vaccines to best suit your needs. We can discuss these at your dog's yearly preventative wellness exam. For dogs we typically recommend a DA2PPV (Distemper, Parvo, Adenovirus type 2, and parainfluenza combination vaccine), Rabies vaccine, Bordetella (aka Kennel cough) vaccine. Other vaccines available include Leptospirosis, and Lyme disease depending on your dog's lifestyle
We carry non-adjuvated mercury free vaccines. What does this mean for you? This means fewer vaccine reactions and a smoother visit for your cat. For indoor only cats, we recommend yearly FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia) and Rabies vaccine. We also have 3 year vaccines available. For outdoor cats we recommend the FVRCP vaccine, Rabies vaccine, and feline leukemia vaccine, in addition to, heartworm prevention and fecal examinations for intestinal worms. We also recommend bloodwork every 2 years for healthy adult felines. This helps us monitor all of your pet's organ functions and keep them as healthy as possible.
